European vehicle car starters

One of the most common questions asked about installing car starters is whether or not we can install starters into European vehicles such as BMW, Audi, Porsche or Volkswagen. And the answer is yes! Unlike some of our competitors we can install car starters in most European vehicles. We have already worked on cars from BMW, Audi, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen and Porsche. Applications for Mercedes Benz with inferred keys is limited to the following cars:

Our latest client – 599

Meet our latest client, a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Styled by the famous Pininfarina group, the 599 is Ferrari’s flag ship gran turismo sports car that replaced the 575 M. The 599 is powered by the same V12 in the Ferrai Enzo. More details to come once we finish work on the vehicle in the upcoming week, followed by a photo shoot.

Drone mobile

Seattle based Firstech, makers of CompuStar, NuStart, Arctic Start and other well-known vehicle remote start and security products, is proud to announce the release of Drone Mobile; a smart phone application for vehicle GPS, security and remote start.

At the moment, Drone Mobile only works with the iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone but support for Blackberry and Android phones will be available soon. Drone Mobile requires an installation of a GPS module, and a monthly subscription. The App can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store.

A basic plan costs $2.49 a month and the premium plan costs $9.99 a month.

Protect your vehicles with DroneMobile’s Geofence feature. Geofence allows you to set a “digital fence” around a point of interest like your home or work. This tells you when your vehicle enters and leaves the set perimeter.

Points of interest*
Need to keep track of employees or teen drivers? With DroneMobile’s point of interest alerts, you can easily set up and turn on/off POI alerts. POI’s will alert you when your vehicle(s) arrive and depart a pre-determined location.

Web control
If you don’t have an iPhone you can still purchase DroneMobile for your vehicle. DroneMobile can be accessed through any web browser on a smartphone or computer. Most importantly, if your phone battery dies you’ll still be able to have control over your vehicle(s).

Multiple vehicle control
Have more than one vehicle that you want to add DroneMobile to? Add as many vehicles as you want to your account. Easily toggle between each vehicle within the preference settings on your app. Regardless of the vehicle selected, you will receive important alerts and notifications for every vehicle on your account.

Specialty tint

Normally when tinting vehicles, we use a standard shade that works well with 90% of the vehicles we work on here. On rare occasions we do receive requests for special shades for certain vehicles. In this case one of our customers had just purchased a Porsche Carrera Targa 4S in a unique colour. Both we and the customer felt that the standard shade (green/blue in colour) would not suit the vehicle. Therefore we decided to install a bronze coloured tint on to the vehicle, resulting in a subtle shade.

Remote starters for Mercedes now available

We are happy to announce that we are now able to install remote starters on newer Mercedes Benz vehicles even ones with KEYLESS GO, here are a list of supported vehicles.

Remote starters can either utilize your factory remote to start your car with the panic button or a Compustar remote can be paired with your vehicle for added features and increased operating range. The starter is equipped with a valet switch that can be hidden, so that when your vehicle is brought in for servicing it is not detectable by the dealership. The use of this remote starter will not interfere with your factory warranty. These units are also DRONE-ready (more on that later closer to launch date).

Our audio install in a LP640

Check out our latest install in a customer’s Lamborghini LP640! The customer demanded a full out audio system that would put the factory system to shame. We looked high and low and finally sourced out some high-end quality products from Focal and Alpine. From our custom trunk amp and capacitor enclosure, to our custom behind the seat subwoofer box, we were able to provide a system that upgraded but didn’t compromise the factory elegance of the LP640.
